Award winning documentary filmmaker, Jennifer Fox is best known for her 10-hour PBS documentary series AN AMERICAN LOVE STORY. Produced through her company, Zohe Film Productions, the series chronicles a year-and-a half in the life of the Wilson-Sims, an interracial family living in New York City. As one of the most comprehensive and profound portraits of one family ever produced, An American Love Story has been invited to screen at several film festivals, including Sundance and Berlin.
Fox’s previous directing efforts include the internationally acclaimed, award winning feature documentary “Beirut: The Last Home Movie,” a portrait of an aristocratic family living in war torn Lebanon. The film has screened at more than twenty prestigious documentary film festivals worldwide and won Best Picture and Best Cinematography at Sundance, the Golden Eagle Award C.I.N.E, and the Grand Prize Best Film Cinema Du Reel, Paris.
