After dropping Game 1, Toronto went on to win three games in a row in dramatic fashion. Game 6 led fans through nine innings of tight one-run baseball. The Atlanta Braves® tightened the knot with a the score in the bottom of the ninth, before the Blue Jays pushed themselves into the lead in the 11th inning, and held on to become the first team outside of the U.S. to win a World Series championship.

In Game 4, the Jays were victorious in a 15-14 nailbiter. Game 6 sealed it when Joe Carter ended the Fall Classic with only the second World Series-winning walk-off home run in the history of Major League Baseball®.
