The Greatest American Hero: Season 1 Directed by Rod Holcomb, Gabrielle Beaumont, Arnold Laven, Robert C. Thompson, 1981

It’s fitting that an L.A. teacher, Ralph (William Katt), would be the one to experience an alien adventure befitting a Hollywood movie. That’s exactly what happens to Ralph: While he’s on a field trip, extraterrestrials give him a red suit with unusual powers. Reluctant to don it, he’s convinced by an FBI agent (Robert Culp) to harness his heroic abilities, but the outfit takes some getting used to, as evidenced by this hilarious first season.
