Along the banks of the Delaware River lie the remains of Johnsville, New Jersey. Once a thriving turn of the century town, it now sits deserted and forgotten. Even so, there is an unnatural lack of decay. The lawns are manicured and the houses are uniformly white. Someone has been maintaining the place although no one is supposed to be there. Jim Cavanaugh (Adam Scarimbolo) is a suburban New Jersey teen. His mom left when he was a child. His father is a jerk. Led by a handful of deed transfers that point to Jim’s mom and the promise of a ripe pot field, Jim and friends seek out Johnsville one weekend morning. Although Jim doesn’t know it, the family connections that he’ll find in Johnsville won’t bring him any closer to mommy.
