Satellites & Meteorites Directed by Rick Larkin, 2008

Daniel and Lucinda meet in unusual circumstances after a car accident which left them both in a coma. Starring Amy Huberman as the lovable Lucinda, a lonely satellite engineer, and Adam Fergus as Daniel, a lost and wealthy novelist, the film tells the story of their timid romance. Strange events begin to overwhelm both their lives – beginning with a serious meteor shower that beautifully paints the night sky and destroys much of the global satellite network. However, it slowly emerges that they two have never actually met- their only connection is the car crash which sent them both into deep comas at the same hospital. As Doctors get closer to wake up the two lovers, their world sees dramatic and worrying changes and they realize to in order to stay together, they’ll have to let go of reality, and hold on to love.
