October 11, 2012 – New York, New York – While at summer camp, seven kids from Japan —Tai, Matt, Sora, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, and T.K.—come across seven Digivices and are transported to a strange dimension called the Digital World. In this new world, they make friends with digital creatures that call themselves Digimon—short for Digital Monsters—who were born to defend their world from various evil forces. The children learn they have the ability to help their new Digimon friends “digivolve” into stronger digital monsters and fight as a team to defend enemies and ultimately find their way home.

The Digidestined and their Digimon eventually defeat Devimon, but they soon learn there are other bigger threats after them. To stay safe, they must band together and keep moving through the Digital World.
In the second arc, they travel to continent Server and help their Digimon digivolve with the power of Crests, which are guarded by Etemon and his Dark Network.
