New Video Taps Marketing Ace Tej Desai for Vice President, Global Marketing Position

New York, NY September 3, 2009 – NEW VIDEO, an entertainment company bringing unique and cutting edge films and programming to DVD and the digital marketplace, announced today that Tej Desai has joined the company as Vice President, Global Marketing, overseeing domestic and international marketing for all of New Video’s product lines including A&E®, HISTORY™, Docurama Films, NEWVIDEO NYC, Scholastic Storybook Treasures™, and Major League Baseball®. Tej hails from Los Angeles where he most recently served as Marketing Director at 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. There Desai managed the successful domestic and international launches of tent-pole DVD franchises such as X-men and Star Wars. The announcement was made today by Steve Savage and Susan Margolin, Co-Principals of New Video.
